The road leading to the castle from the old town can be steep and slippery, making it challenging for inexperienced drivers.

During our New Year break, we appreciated how affordable the hotel was and the splendid characteristics of the area. The free parking and wifi were good points, location wise we were close to good restaurants and shops. We loved the milky yogurt, the unique and famous dish of the region. The option of having that for breakfast was a great start to our day.

Our New Year stay was let down by the lack of cleanliness in the hotel, the bathroom was dirty and the floor was not mopped. What smelt like cigarette smoke seemed to linger in the corridor and room.
